Frequently Asked Questions

u

When should I purchase travel insurance?

We suggest purchasing travel insurance at the time of your initial trip deposit. This is the best time to buy insurance.

We do offer a few policies that can be purchased (in most states) up to the final payment date, but the choices are more limited.

After final payment is made, we can still assist with insurance, but there are less options and the pricing and availability is limited.

u

Will credit card insurance or my health insurance cover me while abroad?

We encourage you to contact your health insurance or credit card company to understand what coverage is offered.

Many of these policies require you to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed after your trip for medical expenses.

Check to see how much trip cancellation and emergency evacuation coverage you have. Often, the coverage you have may not be enough for your trip.

u

What if I have a specific question about what is covered?

For specific coverage questions, you will need to contact the insurance company directly.

While we offer insurance to our guests, we are not able to speak on behalf of the insurance company.

Only the insurance company can answer specific policy questions.

If you have specific questions, you can contact us so that we can put you in touch directly with the insurance carriers.
