Regent Wi-Fi: Logins, Speeds, and When to Upgrade to Streaming

Wi-Fi is included on Regent — but the included tier has limits. Here is how the allotment works, how loyalty tier and suite category change it, and when paying for the streaming upgrade is actually worth it.
The basics
- Every suite includes two Wi-Fi logins (one device per login).
- Gold tier or higher in the Seven Seas Society gets four logins per suite.
- High-end suites (Master, Grand, and the Regent Suite among others) include streaming-grade Wi-Fi.
What the standard tier covers
The included Wi-Fi is intended for essentials: email, web browsing, messaging apps, social media, and maps. It is more than adequate for staying in touch with home and checking the news. It is not built for HD streaming or large video calls.
When to upgrade to streaming
Pay for the streaming upgrade if you plan to:
- Stream Netflix, Disney+, or live sports in your suite.
- Take regular Zoom or Teams calls (some guests work part of the cruise).
- Upload large photo or video files while you travel.
If none of that applies, the included tier is genuinely fine. The ship's connection uses satellite networks that have improved enormously over the past few years.
A small tip on devices
Each login covers one active device at a time, but you can sign out and switch devices freely. A couple in a standard suite with two logins can comfortably cover a phone and a tablet apiece — just not all four at once.
