In focus

Bordeaux, city and wine country

We spent time here in June 2024: the Grand Théâtre and Place de la Comédie at dusk, the Monument aux Girondins at blue hour, then out to the Médoc and Pomerol for private château visits, barrel cellars, and tastings, and a full day exploring Saint-Émilion: the monolithic church, the bell tower climb, and lunch on the square. A driver and advance appointments make all the difference.
