It is a strong choice for couples stepping up from premium lines, and for anyone looking for long itineraries with unique ports of call.
The culinary program
Specialty restaurants are included in the fare. On the larger Oceania ships, you can enjoy four different specialty dining options: Polo Grill, Toscana, Jacques and Red Ginger. The Culinary Center offers hands-on cooking classes for an added fee.
I’ve cooked in Oceania’s Culinary Center and eaten at nearly every venue across the fleet, and the real headline here is consistency. Maintaining the exact same standard of quality on night nine as on night one is notoriously difficult on a cruise ship, but they nail it every time.
Ships and cabins
- Mid-size ships carrying roughly 670 to 1,250 guests
- Newer ships are all veranda and suite. The entry level room is a French Balcony. Older ships have inside, ocean view, veranda and suites.
- Quiet public rooms, a strong library, and no waterslides
- Ports that larger ships cannot get to
What the fare includes
Your World Included covers specialty dining, gratuities, Wi-Fi, nonalcoholic refreshments, and access to self-service launderettes. Eligible bookings also offer a choice of wine and beer by the glass during lunch and dinner restaurant hours or a shore excursion credit. The credit is for tours, not general onboard spending; confirm the amount and terms for your booking.
Self-service launderettes are available to all guests; included laundry services and pressing apply to Concierge and Suite levels under the applicable terms, not every stateroom.

Count the hours ashore, not just the ports
Oceania emphasizes destination-focused itineraries with longer stays and overnight calls. Those features vary by voyage, so the actual schedule matters more than a brand promise.
Look at total time in port across the whole cruise, not just the number of stops. Compare arrival and departure hours, overnight stays, sea days, and travel time from the berth to the places you want to visit. A longer port list does not always give you more time ashore.
